 The Spanish courses in Denia run from 1 week to 6 months.
Intensive courses comprise of four hours daily which take place from Monday to Friday. Superintensive and Special courses comprise of four or six hours. In all cases one hour means 45 academic minutes. The only exceptions are national holidays. On regional and local holidays there will be class or extra activities.
The size of each group varies from 3 to a maximum of 8 (average 4.5), so that each student has the opportunity to active participation. Even if the minimum number of participants is not reached, the class will take place, but the time of the class will be decreased.
In Intensive courses up to five different levels are offered at the beginning of each course, ranging from beginners to advanced.
A level test taken on the first Monday of the course, together with an informal conversation, will be used to assess your ability. Your own self-assessment on the registration form, together with the result of this test will help us to determine which level is most suitable. It is usually possible to change levels during the course.
A certificate which confirms the type of course, duration, intensity and level will be awarded to those regularly attending the language course.

Duration: from 2 weeks to 4 months.
Hours: 4 h. daily, Monday to Friday.
Level of Spanish: 5 levels, from absolute beginners up to advanced.

This course of 20 weekly lessons is perfectly designed to allow you free time to enjoy your stay in Spain, or give you time to honour your work commitments.

This 30 lesson course is especially designed for any professional who needs Spanish for their job and normally finds themselves short of time to study and wants to get the full benefit of their stay in Spain.

This 30 lesson course is especially designed for students who need to prepare in depth for Spanish exams in their own country or those who want to take the D.E.L.E. exam (for the Spanish Ministry of Education). DELE Preparation courses start four weeks before the examination.

You cover new aspects of the language, learn correct grammar structures and define concepts in both spoken and written Spanish necessary and appropriate for the Business world. If you are one of those people who has a taste for doing lots of different things, this is the course we recommend for you. A little sailing and some camping classes. Of course, all these activities have the sea in common. As you know, Dénia has always had strong links with the Mediterranean. All the equipment that you need will be provided depending on which classes you take.
This course is especially designed for children and teenagers of all nationalities and also those living in this area, children who come with their parents, alone or in organised groups. The course is offered from Beginners to Advanced. Time of activities can vary depending on the activity and the availability of students. The price of the course includes Spanish lessons and the activity programme.
The methodology is based on the following points:
- Active participation by the boys and girls with other young people from different countries.
- Flexibility in all activities depending on the age.
- Assigning responsibility to each group member.

 All levels are offered from Beginners to Advanced. Our 5 levels follow the European Framework of Reference for Languages and the guidelines of Instituto Cervantes.
The following description is provided to assist you when choosing the suitable level.
BEGINNERS (A1)
This course is intended for absolute beginners offering an introduction to basic elements of the Spanish language. Explanations of the more complex grammatical structures will be provided in English. Grammar Focus: ser and estar; present, perfect and future forms of regular and irregular verbs. Communicative exercices, role-play and informal expressions are also taught to help you to use Spanish in everyday situations.
PRE-INTERMEDIATE (A2)
After some revision and consolidation of the basics, the course focuses on the forms and usage of the past tenses (imperfecto and indefinido). Authentic material such as easy newspaper articles, comics, songs and simple literature will also be used. Conversational practice will increase your confidence to take part in simple discussions.
 INTERMEDIATE (B1) and UPPER-INTERMEDIATE (B2)
The learning of a language is closely associated with the culture, history, society and politics of the country. For this reason we will examine demanding texts and teaching material in order to create an authentic picture of modern Spain (and to some extent Latin America). Humour, songs, lifestyle, culture, history, literature, film, expressions and also suggestions from students are all part of the programme. The development of conversational skills is of particular importance. You will learn to speak more confidently in a variety of situations. The grammatical focus of level C is on the indicative tenses and an introduction to the subjuntivo. The grammatical focus of level D is on the correct usage of the subjuntivo in all tenses.
ADVANCED (C1)
This level is intended for those students who are already confident in Spanish and would like to increase and perfect their language skills. The students will be able to discuss with the teachers the themes they would like to tackle. Typical grammatical problems which are made by non-native speakers, as well as the perífrasis verbales will be studied and rectified. You will therefore learn to express your ideas in a more precise manner, lending your Spanish a more authentic sound.
